Hotham is a beautiful little village of approximately 100 houses situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It's name is derived from the Hotham family who owned the lands for many centuries, their ancestors coming over with William the Conqueror in 1066. The manor of Hode (Hotham) is listed in the Domesday Book. The village is quiet with very little traffic, but only five minutes from a motorway allowing quick access to other cities and airports.
Nearby are the medieval town of Beverley, the port of Hull and various nature reserves with a wealth of sea birds which migrate to the lands around the Humber estuary. Click on the links to the rlght for details of the home to exchange or a map of the location. |
