Large businesses have non-executive directors to provide an outside perspective. They provide a 'sense' check' against the assumptions made the person running the business, and provide assistance in creating a long term business strategy.

Most owner/managers of small and medium sized businesses naturally focus on the day to day running of the business, without putting enough time aside to consider strategy and planning. In cases like this, they jump at opportunities, changing direction without thinking of the bigger picture.

We provide a mentoring service - essentially the equivalent of a non-executive director for SMEs. This mentor can come in monthly or on an ad hoc basis to act as a sounding board, check the logic of your business decisions, and to help it to remain focussed and on track.

We can also provide a coaching and mentoring service for key members of staff (for example, departmental managers), to enable them to achieve more from their deparments. This is often much easier than trying to effect this change internally.
